『KASHIMA BEPPU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE』は、NPO法人 BEPPU PROJECTが2008年より継続開催しているアーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラムです。

新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響が続くなか、今年度は国内のアーティストと海外在住のアーティストが２人１組となり、別府と海外とでオンラインを活用した国際共同制作を約１カ月間実施します。

来たる2月12日(土)、今年度の招聘アーティスト３組による成果発表会をおこないます。彼らの約１カ月間の活動の発表となります。ぜひご参加ください。

『KASHIMA』は、NPO法人 BEPPU PROJECTが2008年より継続開催しているアーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラムです。別府の温泉文化のなかに息づく湯治のための宿泊形態「貸間」から名付けられたこのプログラムでは、国内外のアーティストが別府の町に長期滞在し、町や地域の人々との交流のなかでさまざまなインスピレーションを受けながら、創作活動をおこないます。

Please join the Outcome Presentation for "KASHIMA 2021 BEPPU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE" on Saturday, February 12!

“KASHIMA BEPPU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE” is a residence program that BEPPU PROJECT has held in Beppu since 2008.

While the continuous influence of COVID-19, we have had 3 pairs artists (a "pair" refers to 1 domestic artist and 1 foreign artist)  had a project to have an international collaboration project using online for one month. The Japanese artist stays in Beppu whereas the foreign artists works from their residing areas and countries.

On Saturday, February 12, there will be an Outcome Presentation from those 3 pairs of artists.

Please join this online event to see what they have achieved during the residency.

“KASHIMA BEPPU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE” is a residence program that BEPPU PROJECT has held in Beppu since 2008. In Japanese, “KASHIMA” refers to the name of the place of your stay in order to heal your body and soul in a bath and spa. One of the aims of this residence program is to promote and develop creations, in connection with the local community and the artists.
